This is a Pavilion of primal materials and sound, divides a courtyard by means of two adobe walls creating a route and modifying the acoustic properties of the place.
In its outer skin, the walls carry a series of spines with acoustic functions that create tension in space and work in turn giving balance, structuring weights and forces. In the interior, it houses a route for only one person, introspective and personal, the environmental acoustics are accentuated by means of a special system of microphones and loudspeakers, amplifying the environmental sound from the thorns to its center. A corridor of material nostalgia and acoustic sensitivity.
Ambivalent and contradictory, Pabellón Evidente maintains an aggressiveness towards the public space and poses with a certain inner peace. At the same time, massive and delicate, it is self-destructive: rain and time will wear out its adobe body until it completely destroys itself.
