AFECTO MATERIAL presents a range of artists exploring disruptive strategies to represent consciousness, post-biological identity, network relationships, body states and experiences, socio-material perspectives, and hybrid mixed reality art. The works present a wide range of techniques and fields that challenge the current paradigms of understanding technological use, in order to present a practical frame of reference to explore the aforementioned discourses and their broader social implications.

- Manuel de Landa: Premiere presentation in Mexico of "Continous Variations", a work that marks the historical return as an artist (named top 10 of 2015 in artForum) of deLanda, Mexican-American writer, crossing art, architecture and theory, and one of the most influential writers and thinkers in cyberculture in the world.

- Alejandro Gomez-Arias: Premiere presentation in Mexico of the first piece of pornographic video art made with Kinect (RGBD toolkit) in the world, "Love is All".

- Arcangel Constantini: Premiere presentation in Mexico of the installation "HoloDeacon". Piece that was 10 years ahead of Google cardboard as an alternative LoFi Virtual/Augmented Reality.

AFECTO MATERIAL is part of ANEMONAL, a media art multi-platform that links, promotes and explores hybrid projects of science, art and technology. The activities mix live acts, art exhibitions, workshops and conferences. ANEMONAL is directed by artist Jorge Ramirez.
